Hi, I’m Latrell! I edit & Write books!
I’m a freelance editor with a passion for fantasy and science fiction—the genres that build entire worlds and reshape reality through imagination. I aim to help authors refine their stories through immersive worldbuilding, clear prose, and strong narrative structure while ensuring they retain the voice that is unique to them.
Outside of editing, I run a writing-focused YouTube channel with over 500 subscribers, where I share tips on worldbuilding, character arcs, and storytelling craft. I graduated from NC State University, where I had the chance to hone my critique skills through creative writing workshops and reinforce the knowledge accrued from prior college-level literature and language courses.
Currently, I’m writing my own fantasy novel—so I understand firsthand the challenges and triumphs of bringing a story to life. Whether you’re polishing your draft or starting a fresh revision, I’d love to help you shape your manuscript into something unforgettable.
I am an avid gamer!
I’ve been a gamer for quite some time! Though I don’t play as often as I used to, I still love that moment of discovery—when you never know which character’s eyes you’ll see the world through next.
Right now, my favorite game is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33!
